I was recently commissioned by Beauty Inc magazine to create an editorial illustration for their June print and digital issue. The feature, written by Noor Lobad, explores Gen Alpha’s growing fascination with fragrance and how this new wave of tween consumers is reshaping the industry.
Today’s tweens are deeply engaged in the world of scent. They're fluent in fragrance notes, exploring everything from luxury perfumes to affordable dupes, body mists, and even scented hand sanitizers. Gen Alpha is redefining the fragrance space as the fastest growing buyers of this industry.
For the illustration, I created a bulletin board collage inspired by a tween’s world. It combines popular fragrance brands (Glossier, Ariana Grande, Dior, Rabanne, Sol de Janeiro, and Gaultier) with key Gen Alpha cultural icons – Labubus, Sonny Angels, Korean snacks, Sabrina Carpenter, Adidas Sambas, Beyoncé, Rhode, and more.
