HAND-PAINTED PUBLIC ART TRAIL SCULPTURE

I had the privilege of being one of the selected artists to paint a Morph sculpture for Morph’s Epic Adventure trail across London.

​

This public art trail featured 56 six-foot hand-painted Morph sculptures, marking the first step-free accessible trail in the UK. The project was a collaboration between Amazing Morph, Morph LDN, Wild in Art, Whizz-Kidz UK, and Aardman Animations. The trail's auction raised vital funds for Whizz-Kidz, the UK’s leading charity for young wheelchair users.

"London Collage"

My sculpture, "London Collage," is inspired by the ripped and layered billboard posters found throughout London. I created a vibrant pop art collage to capture the dynamic energy of London, a city I've called home for 20 years. The artwork reflects the ever-changing, colorful mosaic that makes London so unique.

The event also featured an app, Morph’s Epic Adventure London, available for 99p. Each purchase contributed additional funds to this worthwhile cause. The app included an interactive map, a collecting function similar to Pokémon Go, photos of sculptures, information about the artists and sponsors, a photo upload feature, and rewards.

​

At the end of the trail, an auction was held for the sculptures, raising £564,875 through sculpture sponsonships for this important charity.
